As part of my university degree, I was on work placement for a year during which I had the opportunity to work in Emilia Wickstead's fashion design department in London.

The experience gave me great insight into the luxury sector of the fashion industry and valuable knowledge about how the different departments develop and present each season's new collection. Some of my main responsibilities included:

● Autumn/Winter 2020 womenswear collection - Liaising with the design department to create digital illustrations of sketched designs, producing technical drawings and production packs, designing textile prints and updating documents with alterations.
● Autumn/Winter 2020 fashion show - Preparing flat drawings and illustrations of runway looks, keeping graphics up to date with changes after fitting sessions, creating synergy with the atelier team to complete tasks to expected standards and meet deadlines.
● Campaign photoshoots - Working with the photography team to organise and run photoshoots according to the creative director’s criteria.
