Nominated by University of Leeds, I took part in an international fashion design program at Donghua University, renowned for its fashion degree in Shanghai. During this month-long project, we studied the history of traditional Chinese costumes, their cultural significance and centuries of evolution. The lectures, along with primary and secondary research on contemporary Chinese designers showed me how today's modern fashion scene in China has come about and the knowledge directed our assignment to design a luxury capsule collection for the Chinese market.
